Assistant Account Executive

An Assistant Account Executive at Falls is expected to develop expertise and demonstrate the ability to take ownership of a project, work on a team and focus on the importance of effective communications skills, active listening and timely response.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute and follow through on client requests and projects as assigned by staff in a timely and efficient manner  
  • Support team members thoughtfully, as requested, to produce the best possible client solutions/outcomes
  • Prioritize and manage assignments and projects related to your work
  • May be required to make oral presentations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to write acceptably for print, broadcast and social media
  • Able to demonstrates a basic understanding of media distribution channels and the general news media
  • Ability to listen, work and communicate efficiently and effectively with colleagues, clients and all other firm contacts and partners
  • Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of a project and work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage and prioritize assignments from internal staff on behalf of numerous clients; meet all deadlines


  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or a specialized or related field of study
  • One to two years of strategic communications or equivalent industry experience required. Prior firm experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications; knowledge of industry monitoring and measurement data systems
