Paid Social Media Specialist

We are seeking a full-time Paid Social Media Strategist who is detail-oriented and eager to work in a fast-paced environment and expand the paid social capabilities at our full-service advertising agency. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with other team members as well as think critically and strategically in order to execute, monitor, and report on paid social campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in all facets of clients’ Paid Social Media campaigns, including planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
  • Analyze paid social dashboards and generate reports in Excel or PowerPoint
  • Optimize ad messaging, audiences, and placements to achieve actionable results
  • Coordinate assets and tags with vendors and ensuring campaigns are delivering against KPIs
  • Assist in writing copy for ads when necessary
  • Assist with influencer marketing campaigns when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Working knowledge of other digital channels beyond social media, including paid search or display advertising
  • Ability to present proposals and reports in client meetings
  • Knowledge of both B2C and B2B clientele

Required Qualifications

  • BA in Marketing or Communications is preferred
  • 1 – 3 years of managing Paid Social campaigns – specifically in Facebook Ads Manager for an ad agency or client side
  • Understanding of popular social networks including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok – functionality & users
  • Well-versed in analytic tools (i.e. Google Analytics) used to evaluate performance
