Senior Media Planner

We are looking for an experienced Senior Media Planner with a combination of passion and expertise to run the account's very fast-paced, day-to-day operations. The candidate must have experience working in media agencies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Researches, develops and compiles media plans that include media objectives, strategies, recommended tactics, rationale and measurement tactics on behalf of assigned clients
  • Presents media plans to key account management personnel and client(s)
  • Executes plans once they are approved
  • Monitors plans and makes optimizations
  • Provides monthly campaign performance reporting that includes actionable insights
  • Gathers, organizes and presents competitive research and spending data on an as needed basis
  • Acts as a liaison between media vendors and agency
  • Keeps current on Media Trends

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Versed in all forms of Media (Broadcast, Digital, OOH, Print, etc.)
  • Digital Planning/Buying Expertise
  • All platforms (Display/Video/PPC/Social)
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point applications
  • Knowledge of industry monitoring and measurement data systems including MRI, Kantar, Google Analytics, DCM, etc.
  • Collaborative, team player who works well on a team and across departments
  • Strong analytical skills; and ability to develop actional recommendations

  • Creativity


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience
